1. What this service is

CouncilTaxAppeal provides informational tools to help you understand whether your council tax band may be incorrect. We provide data analysis, comparable property reports, and template appeal letters.

2. What this service is NOT

This service does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. We are not solicitors, surveyors, or tax advisors. Only the Valuation Office Agency can formally change a council tax band.

3. Risk warning

Challenging your council tax band can result in your band going up, down, or staying the same. You challenge at your own risk. We clearly display risk indicators in our reports but cannot guarantee any outcome.

4. Accuracy

Our analysis uses publicly available data which may contain errors or be out of date. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee it.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses arising from your use of this service, including any increase to your council tax band as a result of challenging.
